Panhellenic at URochester

Welcome to the University of Rochester's Panhellenic Association page! The Panhellenic Association was founded on campus in 1983, and it includes 6 of the 26  National Panhellenic Conference sororities.

Each of these chapters upholds high academic standards and strong values such as sisterhood, loyalty, and service. The women who make up the Panhellenic community are diverse leaders and role models on campus.

Why join?

Finding your place at the University of Rochester can feel overwhelming at times. Joining a Panhellenic sorority gives you a built-in community that is there for you. You’ll grow as a leader, build lifelong friendships, and find a group that stands by you through every challenge and success. Chapters at Rochester welcome students for who they are and what they care about. Your values, goals, and how you want to make a difference matter within the community. Every student who wants to grow, connect, and contribute has a space here.

Being part of a Panhellenic sorority means joining a community that cares deeply about leadership, service, and making a difference. You’ll learn from others, engage with the campus and greater Rochester community, and develop the confidence and skills to lead in any setting. The Panhellenic experience extends beyond one chapter and our campus. You’ll gain a strong network of alumnae who offer career advice, internship connections, and personal support. Your sisters will challenge you to grow, step outside of your comfort zone, and reach opportunities you might not have pursued alone.

Ready to find your community?
