RECRUITMENT

Panhellenic Recruitment is a process where active members of each chapter meets potential new members (PNMs). During this period, PNMS have the chance to learn about each of the chapters, their philanthropies, their values and benefits afforded by Greek affiliation.

At the U of R formal recruitment takes place at the beggining of the Spring semester. All eight chapters participate and the PNMs have the opportunity to meet active chapter women and visit all eight panhellenic sororities. Through a process of mutual selection, students narrow their choices at the end of each day. At the end of formal recruitment, bids to chapters are extended.

Each PNM will be assigned a recruitment counselor who will help answer their questions throughout the process as well as give unbiased advice on how to decide between and consider sororities.
